June 6, 2014Here's another progress report from June 6, 2014. We had 2" of rain the night of June 3-4. Yesterday was sunny, so there was hope the work would be dry enough to proceed. Unfortunately, it is wet and sticky this morning, so not a lot will be done today.

June 17, 2014There has been a lot of wet weather since my last view on June 6, and a trip to Cape Hatteras also intervened. This morning I found that only one day's progress had been made. Still, that's progress. All debris is gone, and there is a bit of gravel on the driveway.

Summer is here and the river looks really inviting this morning. The flow is about 320 CFS, and our swimming hole looks just about perfect.
