This is a great Second Series Target Model, made in 1949. It remains in excellent original condition with perfect mechanicals. It has a correct, original, and beautiful set of dark brown "Coltwood" bakelite grips with right-hand thumb rest. It does show slight holster wear on either side of the muzzle, and slight sharp edge blue wear. There is some discoloration on the front grip strap. There are a few other blemishes here and there, but nothing I would consider detracting or serious. It has a perfect bore.

As you see, this pistol still has its palm adapter. That gives the option of using it with or without. There is only one screw that holds this palm adapter, and when removed, the same screw serves as a "filler screw" for the hole. Few of these are seen, so I suppose most people prefer the pistol without it. Nevertheless, you have the choice with this one.

This is a nice Woodsman that shows little use. It has another 63 years of use just waiting for you.
